Proceedings
The proceedings for IAU Symposium S269 will be published by Cambridge University Press. The editors of the proceedings will be Cesare Barbieri (University of Padova, Italy), Supriya Chakrabarti (Boston University), and Marcello Coradini (ESA Paris).
Preparations for the Proceedings: The page limit for the full volume has been set by the IAU to be 600 pages.
The Editors have allocated the following number of pages per paper: 10 pages for oral presentations, 5 pages for posters (including figures). The papers will be refereed.
There are specific instructions for the format of the papers and these are given in the "readme file" at
http://www.iau.org/static/scientific_meetings/authors_2009/.
According to the requirements of the publisher, the papers should be prepared in LaTeX using the CUP style.
Schedule for the Proceedings: the IAU requires that the presentations at a symposium they sponsor be published within six months. Therefore, the schedule is the following:
PAPERS ARE DUE TO THE EDITORS BY 15 March, 2010.
Refereeing to be completed by 15 May, 2010. Proceedings to the publisher by 15 July, 2010.

All authors are requested to download the IAU Copyright Form, complete and sign it, and send it by airmail to:
